Insights into the Annual General Meeting 2001 ...
The
first ordinary general meeting of IM Internationalmedia AG met with
lively interest amongst the around 450 shareholders and business
journalists and analysts attending.
To set the mood at the general
meeting of the Internationalmedia Group, the corporate trailer
was played at the start, which provides an insight
into the corporate culture and highlights the company's vision.
The event
was subsequently officially opened by the chair of the supervisory
board Mrs Hiebeler-Hasner. This was followed by a corporate presentation
by the CEO Florian Bollen and the statements on the financial details
by the CFO Andreas Konle. During the round of questions and answers,
among others, Mr Schmitt (German Protective Association For Small
Shareholders) and Mr Jaeckel (German Protective Association for Security
Holdings)
took advantage of this opportunity to pose questions of current interest
to the chief officers. The majority of questions referred to the
financial aspects, while others related to the business model and the
film industry
in general.
The chief officers Florian Bollen and Andreas Konle answered
the questions in a concentrated and precise fashion. Following this
round of questions
and answers, the ten items on the agenda were voted on. The waiting
period was used to show clips from some of the films Internationalmedia
has just finished shooting, including clips from "K-19: The Widowmaker" starring
Harrison Ford, "The Quiet American" with Michael Caine and
Brendan Fraser and "K-Pax" starring Kevin Spacey.
At the end
of this meeting that lasted around 3 ½ hours, the
actor and member of the supervisory board Hugh Grant went into the
audience and gave well over 100 autographs. To round off the meeting,
there was an opportunity to talk to the chief officers, members of
the supervisory board and staff in the foyer of the Reithalle, where
refreshments and a light snack were served, accompanied in the background
by the latest cinema hit from Internationalmedia "The Wedding
Planner".
General praise was uttered from those attending for the
smooth running of this entirely stylish event and for the thoroughly
convincing company
presentation. |
